Hi Mandy, Not sure how you missed it (it is on our blog) but Linden Labs have been great during the whole process. they have organised a private area for us and transferred all our islands. We are operating as usual without any slow down in what we are doing and we are using the second life platform as usual. We did consider Open Sim but it just doesn’t have the same functionality. So Skoolaborate is all ahead full the same as it ever was.
Hi Westley,
Great to know you have this result. This is the trouble with committing something to print, when all is fluid. The last time I looked, you had not made a decision. Anyway, now amended.
By the way, if you haven’t seen it, have a look at the Metaverse Journal, Oct 2010 ‘“>Why Second Life is already second-best for education‘ . Commentary generally presents a different view.
Thanks Mandy, very interesting!
